Facebook Should Not Be Banned In
The Campus.
1st Speaker (Rivadavia
Anak Josept)
Good evening to our lecturer Dr.
Tan Wee Hoe and my fellow friends.
I completely
disagree with the affirmative speaker. Why? Believe or not, facebook is
actually a useful and vital communication tool especially to student. Please
don’t blame the innocent-looking homepage (Welcome to facebook) and painless
login but blame users. Banning facebook in the campus would be a huge mistake.
So I believe that, Facebook should not be banned in the campus. Firstly, I
would like to introduce myself, Rivadavia as a first speaker. I will talk about
Facebook Is Extents Communication and An All-Out-Ban is unnecessary. Second
speaker, Mutiah, Facebook helps… She will talk about Facebook helps students communicate with lecturer. Ohh! Sory…pardon…She
will talk about Facebook helps students communicate with international students
and third speaker, which is Fatin, she will talk about Facebook helps students
communicate with lecturer. Last but not least, Anis, she will give a conclusion
about our point that Facebook Should Not Be Banned In The Campus.
First, Facebook
is extents communication. Without facebook searching function, we were likely
never come and contact with long lose friends or relatives ever again. This
mean less communication which according to me, that is a bad thing. Facebook
make it easy to meet new people in the campus. You are literally connect to a
thousands of the other users. Besides, Facebook give add another method of
communication. We already have calling, texting and email. Then Facebook add
commenting and messanging. More communication is good, I think. And an all-out-ban is
unnecessary. This is because banning facebook for all students in the campus is
ridiculous and unnecessary. Some…some… says people get distributed by it…but…don’t…and…a…distributed
by it…and…do not do assignment but this is like…banning knives…banning a knives…bannning
a knives because some people will abuse them and still stab someone. Im sure that a solid majority of students don’t abuse social networking to the
extents where is detrimental to their life. That mean thats an all-out-ban is
unfair to the students that use it correctly and in moderation. There are some
people who make straight A’s and B’s have a social life and use facebook. Why
should they had to be punished…punished for the mistake of minority? I don’t
think so. Banning Facebook doesn’t solve the problem if there even is one. If
we do away from Facebook, user will just use like Myspace, Twitter and Skype
instead. Facebook is certainly extremely…certainly extremely…handy. Blocking it
in the campus just because of few peoples misuse it seem foolhardy. Like just
first affirmative speaker said, Facebook is a bad. I don’t think it a bad, it
just students use it to release tension. When their try to release their
tension something bad come but not…not that bad…they just want to talk about
their stress. Okay! Thank you.
